Terms of sale

These terms apply when you buy from Lampada. Our shipping, returns and privacy policies are part of them. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the law.

Who you are buying from

Lampada is a shop name of Amplify Media Consulting LLC, a Florida limited liability company, 2407 Cat Cay Ln, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312-4751. Amplify Media Consulting LLC is the seller of every order (the merchant of record) and the company your payment goes to. Charges appear on your card statement with “LAMPADA” in the description.

Prices and payment

• Prices are in US dollars. Shipping and sales tax are added at checkout, and you see the total before you pay. We charge sales tax where the law requires it.
• You can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link through Stripe, and with Klarna’s pay in 4 where it is offered, under Klarna’s own terms. Your card details go straight to Stripe: we never see full card numbers.
• If we can’t fill your order, or part of it, we tell you and refund what we can’t send.

Adding to your order after checkout

Your payment method is saved securely so you can add items after checkout with one click. We never charge it without your click. Each addition is a separate charge, made only when you click to add it. Items added this way ship with your order at no extra shipping charge.

Offers and discount codes

• Each offer’s conditions are on its own terms page, linked beside the offer; every one is listed on Offer terms.
• One code per order; codes can’t be combined.
• An offer with an end date ends on that date (Eastern time). A countdown always counts down to that real end.
• We show a former, crossed-out price only if it was our actual price, with real sales, for at least 30 days in the 90 days before.
• When an offer says “free”, any shipping and handling charge is shown right beside it.

Plans that renew

Some of what we sell is a plan that renews (Saint of the Month, Theophany Kit and Keepers of the Lamp; see Plans). Before you join, the plan’s page shows its price, what ships, when we charge and how to cancel. We charge your card for a plan only after you tick the box agreeing to the recurring charge, and we email you a receipt with these terms. We email you 7 days before each monthly charge and 30 days before each yearly renewal, with the amount and the date. Cancel any time in one click, from your plan page or from the link in any email about your plan. After you cancel there are no more charges, and whatever you have already paid for still ships.

Consecration

Consecration is a service performed by a priest of the Orthodox Church, with holy water and the prayers of the Church. Each consecrated item comes with a certificate signed by the priest.

• Folding diptychs are consecrated one by one before they leave the workshop. Each is filmed with its own number on a card; the same number is on its box and on its certificate. The name you give us is prayed for separately and isn’t in the film. A consecrated diptych ships in our normal time.
• Crosses, icons, medallions and prayer ropes are consecrated by our priest before they ship, commemorating the person you name. Orders with their Consecration ship in 3–8 business days.
• The personal video and the photograph. If you add the video, we email you a link to the film of your item’s Consecration (for a diptych, the film of its own numbered diptych). The photograph shows your item at its Consecration.
• Final sale. Consecrated items are final sale. Consecration, the video and the photograph are final sale once the Consecration has been performed; a diptych’s was performed before it left the workshop. Until our priest has performed it, you can cancel a Consecration by email, and we refund it, with the video or photograph if you added them.

Printed prayers

Printed prayers are made for you with the names you give us, so they are final sale. We print the names as you enter them; please check the spelling.

Product pictures and descriptions

Our product pictures are made from photographs of the real items and finished digitally, and some show them in settings created digitally. Colours on a screen can differ a little from the item in your hand. A “gold color” or “silver color” finish describes how an item looks: it is not solid gold or silver.

Shipping, returns and guarantees

We ship to all 50 states, Washington, DC and APO/FPO/DPO addresses: see Shipping. You can return goods within 30 days of delivery, except final-sale items, and metal items are guaranteed against defects: see Returns and refunds.

Reviews

Customers review what they bought through a private link we email after delivery, or ask for one on our review page. A review tied to a paid order of that product is marked Verified buyer. We publish every rating, high or low. We remove a review only if it contains personal information, profanity or abuse, isn’t about our product or is off-topic, or the reviewer asks us to, and we record why. A review by someone connected to us (our staff, our priest or a partner) says so and doesn’t count in our ratings.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. This doesn’t take away any protection the law of your own state gives you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place an order applies to that order.
