A feast of the Church year
The Sunday of the Myrrhbearing Women
Two weeks after Pascha the Church remembers the women who came to the tomb at dawn with spices and were the first to hear that Christ is risen. Among them are Mary Magdalene, the first to see the risen Lord and to proclaim the Resurrection; Salome, the mother of the Apostles James and John; and Joanna, who served Christ from her means. Martha and Mary of Bethany, the sisters of Lazarus, are remembered with them.

The New Calendar (the Greek, Antiochian, Romanian and Bulgarian churches, the OCA and most converts) keeps fixed feasts on the church date; the Old Calendar (the Russian, Serbian and Georgian churches, Jerusalem and Mount Athos) keeps them 13 days later. Pascha and the feasts that follow it are kept on the same day by both.
How the day is kept
Orthodox communities keep the day as their own women's day.
